I’ve learned that the best parts of the day are the unscripted ones. When your mom fixes a strap. When you turn back to look at your crowd of loved ones during the ceremony. When your flower girl busts a move on the dance floor. It’s my goal that your wedding photos look like how your day truly felt.
I believe in capturing your day as it unfolds. While I’m always on the lookout for hair ties on the wrists of bridesmaids, I tend to step back and let the day flow naturally. I’ll ask for a few posed smiles for the living room mantle, but aside from that I want you to be able to enjoy your day as it happens and really soak it all in.
You tell me all about your day & you decide to book. We’re officially in business.
We touch base two months out to nail down a timeline and you share all the little details I’ll be sure to capture on the big day, including a list of family portraits.
I come armed on your wedding day with cameras and my teacher voice, ready for every second of it.
You get some sneak peeks two days later, and a full gallery 5-6 weeks after the big day. You then wallpaper your entire home with your gorgeous images.
Having Kait photograph our wedding day was one of the BEST decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. From the engagement shoot to the wedding day and all the planning and prep in between, Kait’s kind, fun, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable (she knows ALL the wedding things!), and engaging nature made everything run smoothing and effortlessly – all while capturing the beauty and love of our special day! We are over-the-moon happy with all of our photographs and can’t recommend Kait’s talents, more!!!

From our initial call, it was so clear to us that Kait was the person we’d want to have around us on such a special day – she is kind, professional, and truly amazing at what she does. When we met in person for the first time at our engagement shoot, we felt so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera and knew our wedding day would be no different! The way Kait goes back and forth from using her digital cameras to her film cameras is truly masterful. On our wedding day, Kait and her second shooter, Anne, kept us laughing, stress-free, and always on schedule. She also delivered our full wedding gallery incredibly fast. At this point, Kait has truly become a friend to my husband and I, and we can’t wait for her to capture more milestones and big moments for us for years and years to come!

Kait is an outstanding wedding photographer. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so organized and helpful. She kept everything on schedule and fluffed my gown so many times. She has such a warm personality, she is truly a dream to work with! Not to mention, our wedding photos turned out AMAZING. We decided to buy an album from her and it is now one of our most prized possessions. Thank you Kait for perfectly capturing our wedding day so that we may relive it for years to come!

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 25% non-refundable retainer. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 1 month before the wedding.
I have two homes – the one where I actually live (near Charlotte, NC) and the one where part of my heart lives (Baltimore, MD). I don’t charge additional travel fees within 60 miles of those two locations. Thinking outside of those areas? Let’s chat!
